In my opinion, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is one of the most underrated and effective tools for lead gen out there. Yes, you have to pay for this bolt on, but it’s well worth the price. Couple it with Dux-Soup for data harvesting and you have a match made in heaven.
Sales Navigator allows you to target your ideal target audience in a really precise way and is particularly impactful if you are a B2B company. By using boolean searches, it can help you zone in on that perfect list to target with your campaign. For example, our marketing agency may want to target a really specific niche of CEOs, Presidents, Founders and Marketing leaders of real estate tech companies with 11-50 employees in the U.S. In order for me to find that perfect RE tech company contact to target, I’d use a boolean search string that would make sure I am only including these types of profiles, and excluding other profiles like real estate brokers and so on.
Once you have your perfect list of target profiles ready in Sales Navigator, you can then use Dux-Soup to for a number of automated tasks on LinkedIn. You can have Dux-Soup auto-connect with everyone on the list and send them a personal connection note for better results. Then you can also have Dux-Soup crawl each profile of the contacts from your Sales Navigator list and extract all the data, including email addresses, for each person. You can then export all of this data into a CSV file. Some people use this as an opportunity to start these contacts on an email drip campaign using a plain-text email platform like Autoklose. I would suggest creating a series of 3 to 4 emails for a campaign like this, but don’t forget to validate all of the email addresses you extract!
